What's "La Misión"?

In 2023, we organized an exciting virtual competition in collaboration with Josué López Canal, also known as Joloco97, a prominent streamer in the Spanish motorsport community. This weekly competition brought together various streamers from the world of motorsport to compete in thrilling virtual races using the popular iRacing simulator.
One of the most distinctive features of this tournament was the active participation of the streamers in the planning and execution of the event. Both the cars and the circuits were selected through voting by the participants themselves, ensuring a diverse and exciting racing experience on each occasion.
Every Monday, Josué and other streamers hit the track to compete in an atmosphere of fun and camaraderie. Beyond the competition, the goal was to create entertaining content for their respective Twitch channels, sharing exciting moments with their followers and strengthening the motorsport community in Spain.

Summary of the project

One of the main reasons for organizing this friendly tournament was to be able to race in iRacing with friends and have a good time, without any intention of generating bad competition or hard feelings. The atmosphere of camaraderie and fun was always present in each race, with the aim of enjoying virtual motorsport in the company of friends and followers.
Additionally, graphic content was created for social media, especially Twitter, to announce news and participants, generating excitement and promoting audience participation in each race.
The circuits, chosen democratically by the community, offered a variety of challenges, from tight corners to long straights, ensuring that each race was unique and exciting.
Although this tournament has already concluded, it represents just one of several projects in which you and Josué have collaborated. Your ongoing partnership demonstrates how shared passion for motorsport and gaming can bring people together in exciting virtual adventures. Thanks to everyone who took part in this incredible experience!

Emotes

Furthermore, the emotes were inspired by Joloco97 in his "zombie" mode, thus incorporating a distinctive and humorous element that was part of the competition's unique aesthetic. These emotes captured the essence of the charismatic streamer in a recognizable and playful format, adding an additional touch of originality and personality to the event's promotion. The inclusion of these emotes not only added a distinctive visual element but also served to reinforce the tournament's identity and its connection with Joloco97's community of followers.
Additionally, the emotes designed for La Misión were used to be sent for free to participants and winners of some of the giveaways we conducted on the Twitch channel, in collaboration with the company Simufy.
La Misión, a really fun tournament

Without a doubt, the championship turned out to be a dynamic and enjoyable experience for both participating streamers and followers of the competition. Every two weeks, the excitement reached its peak as streamers engaged in intense virtual races, showcasing their driving skills and providing adrenaline-filled moments for all viewers. The interaction between participants and their followers on social media and live streams added an extra layer of excitement, with polls conducted during streams about the predicted positions of each team, real-time comments, and expressions of support for their favorites. Furthermore, the opportunity to select cars and circuits through voting allowed for greater community involvement, fostering an atmosphere of active participation and shared enjoyment. In summary, the championship was not only a high-level competition but also an entertaining and enriching experience for all involved, further solidifying the bond between streamers, their followers, and the virtual motorsport community.
